- Evaluation inputs — horse details and advert links you submit for valuation.
- Usage data — pages viewed, device type, IP address, and basic telemetry.
- Communications — messages you send us via email or the contact form.
Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.
3. Why we use it (legal basis)
- To provide reports and respond to enquiries — contract performance.
- To send report copies and service emails — contract performance.
- To prevent fraud, secure the Service and improve our product — legitimate interests.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
- For optional marketing — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share data with
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record for payments, subscription management, tax and invoicing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to deliver the website.
- Email delivery providers — to send report copies and notifications.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where reasonably required.
- Authorities where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to safeguard your data.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry and report data for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years for transactional records), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
